Custom JST VH Cable Assemblies
Source a finished cable assembly for equipment that already uses a JST VH mating interface, or start from a housing reference, board-header reference, photo or brief requirement. Zeakka coordinates specification review, supplier quotations and samples; we are a trading and sourcing partner, not the manufacturer.

We can quote single-ended, double-ended, mixed-interface and branched VH assemblies. The A end, B end and each branch are still identified separately so the proposed components and wiring match the project.
Double-ended assembly
A connector at both ends with an agreed pin-to-pin map. Two receptacle housings do not become an inline male/female extension pair.

A VH interface at one end and another specified connector or termination at the other. Both exact mating interfaces and terminal systems must be reviewed.

Multiple legs defined by a branch diagram, leg labels, dimensions and circuit map. Electrical loading and branch construction must be assessed for the project.

A complete drawing is helpful but not required for first contact. A clear photo, known part number or short description can start the review.

Use the JST VH drawing to identify the interface—not to rate the finished cable
The current JST VH catalog describes a 3.96 mm-pitch wire-to-board family. Its cable-side housings mate with board-mounted headers; a board header must not be presented as a cable-end plug. Exact housing, contact and header variants still need to be matched.

- VHR-*N is listed from 2 to 11 circuits; M-type and retainer-compatible variants have their own availability and restrictions.
- Crimp contacts
- SVH-21T-P1.1 is listed for AWG 22–18; SVH-41T-P1.1 for AWG 20–16.
- Insulation O.D.
- The contact table lists 1.7–3.0 mm; retainer-mountable housings narrow the stated range to 1.7–2.2 mm.
- Electrical reference
- JST lists 10 A with AWG 16 and a standard header, and 7 A with AWG 18 and a shrouded header. These conditions do not establish the rating of a Zeakka-sourced finished assembly or an unbranded alternative.

Original JST option
Original JST housing, contact and header references can be sourced as part of a finished assembly. Availability, traceability documents and the exact component set are confirmed in the quotation.
Unbranded compatible candidate
We can also quote an unbranded compatible candidate. It is reviewed against the mating interface, drawing, material, contact geometry, wire fit and sample; similar pitch or appearance alone does not prove interchangeability or performance.

JST VH cable assembly questions
Can I request a quote without a drawing?
Yes. Send a photo, housing or header reference, existing cable sample details, or a short requirement. We can identify the missing decisions before a quotation is finalized.
Is JST VH a wire-to-wire connector family?
The referenced JST VH catalog describes a wire-to-board family. Its headers are PCB-mounted. If you need an inline extension, send photos or references for both mating cable ends so a different or compatible solution can be assessed without treating the board header as a cable plug.
Can I specify only the number of pins and cable length?
Those details are useful but not sufficient by themselves. Please also identify the mating interface, pinout or required circuit mapping, wire needs and how length should be measured.
Can the cable use original JST parts?
You can request original JST components within the finished assembly, or ask for an unbranded compatible candidate. The quotation should identify the proposed route and exact references; a photo alone does not prove origin.
What current can the finished cable carry?
There is no single page-wide rating. The JST catalog values are conditional component references. Finished-assembly suitability depends on the selected contacts, wire, header, circuit loading, temperature and application, and must be confirmed for the project.
What are the MOQ and lead time?
They depend on component source, wire, quantity, assembly work, testing and any special processing. Share your sample and production quantities so the quotation can state the applicable terms.
