Custom JST SH Cable Assemblies

Single-ended SH leads, SH-to-SH cables and SH connections to other connector series, made to your agreed length and wiring. Start with a connector reference, photograph or short description.

Zeakka is a China-based sourcing and supply partner. We coordinate component selection, factory quotations and project-specific sample arrangements around your requirements.

SH-to-SH cable assembly examples. Connector positions, wire specification, finished length and pinout are agreed for each project.

Choose the cable ends your project needs

Three connection layouts are available. Circuit count, contact and wire selection are confirmed for the assembly you need.

01

SH to stripped or tinned wire ends

An SH housing at one end, with individual wires prepared for your opposite connection. Specify which wires need stripping or tinning, the preparation length and how the free ends will be installed.

Agree finished length and free-end preparation separately.

02

SH to SH

SH housings at both ends, with the required length and pin-to-pin connections. Define the viewing direction at each end before agreeing straight-through or crossed wiring.

Two cable-side housings connect to their respective mating parts.

03

SH to another connector series

Connect an SH interface to a different series, including PH, using the specified mating parts at each end. Identify both interfaces and map every required connection, including unused positions.

The exact opposite-end connector is confirmed for the project.

Start with the SH mating interface and wire

A compact connector needs more than a series name. Review the complete installed connection, including the fine wires and the space needed to handle it.

Review SH alternative components

Identify the complete mating pair

Send the board-header or mating-part reference, housing and contact details, or clear mating-face and side photographs. The SH family uses a 1.00 mm pitch reference; pitch and position count alone do not establish fit. Check the selected housing variant and actual mating geometry.

Match the contact and the wire

Confirm conductor size, strand construction and insulation outside diameter against the selected contact and crimp requirements. Wire gauge alone does not establish suitability. Original and alternative components need their own applicable drawings and approval.

Allow room to install and handle it

Include board orientation, wire exit, insertion access and the installed cable route. Fine wires need appropriate handling and support: plan access to grip the housing when disconnecting, and agree strain relief separately from connector retention.

Make the wiring unambiguous at both ends

Pin 1 and the stated view

Mark pin 1 at each end and state whether the drawing shows the mating face or wire-entry side. Opposing views can reverse the apparent order, even when the wire colours look the same.

Housing positions and populated circuits

List the housing cavity count separately from the fitted contacts. Mark empty cavities and identify each connected wire; an unpopulated position must remain visible in the connection list.

Length and routing references

Define finished length, tolerance and measurement endpoints. Include any unequal free-wire lengths or installation restrictions. The complete electrical path, wire and operating conditions determine the application review; pitch alone does not establish a cable current rating.

Unbranded compatible alternatives

We can review alternative housings and contacts for the selected interface. Identify the quoted parts and check their drawings, mating fit and application requirements before approval. Original JST specifications do not automatically rate an alternative or the finished assembly.

Original JST components within a finished assembly

Original components can be considered for selected finished cable projects, subject to the exact part references and sourcing availability. Original JST components are not sold separately. Confirm the component route in the quotation and sample requirements.

Start a quote with the details you have

A photo, reference or short request is enough to start. A complete drawing is helpful when available; the remaining build details can be clarified during review.

  1. 01

    Review the requirement

Share the information you have and mark what is unknown. We clarify the two ends, wiring and component sourcing route before comparing quotations.

  2. 02

    Agree the sample and checks

Define the sample configuration and acceptance criteria, including mating, dimensions and electrical checks as required. Confirm the available inspection arrangements for the selected build.

  3. 03

    Confirm the production specification

Record the approved components, wire, connection list and revision before production. Price, MOQ and lead time are confirmed for the quoted configuration and quantity.

SH cable assembly questions

Can you supply single-ended and double-ended SH cables?

Yes. We offer SH leads with stripped or tinned wire ends, SH-to-SH double-ended cables and SH connections to other series. The quotation confirms the selected parts, circuit count, wire, pinout and finished length for your project.

Can you supply an SH-to-PH cable with a custom pinout?

Yes. Provide the mating references at both ends and any known connections. Straight-through or crossed wiring is agreed against a connection list with a stated view and pin-one reference for each housing.

Which circuit counts and wire sizes are available?

These are confirmed for the selected housing, contact and wire combination. Send your required housing positions, occupied circuits, conductor specification and insulation outside diameter. We review the exact combination rather than treating every SH-labelled component as interchangeable.

Can I start with a photograph or sample rather than a drawing?

Yes. Send clear mating-face, side and wire-entry photographs, any visible references and the requirements you know. Photos help start identification; the mating parts and build specification still need to be agreed before production. The connector identification worksheet can help record the missing details.

Do you sell original JST SH housings or contacts separately?

No. Loose connector supply covers unbranded alternatives. Original JST components are considered only within selected finished cable assemblies, subject to exact part selection and availability.

What are the MOQ, sample timing and production lead time?

They are quoted after reviewing the selected components, wire, quantities, sample needs and required checks. Include your target date so the sourcing and approval steps can be considered together.
