What the customer provided

A written RFQ for four draft cable concepts, including lengths, connector references, wire ranges, twisting, voltage, temperature and quantity targets—but no drawing or image.

Procurement and technical issues

The 5-core temperature-sensor cable required an overall jacket, flexibility, a rating above 140 °C and a maximum 3.0 mm outer diameter. These constraints affected the available wire construction and certification marking.

What Zeakka did

Confirmed that unbranded compatible connector alternatives could be evaluated and explained MOQ; advised a 3–4-week project lead time after clarification; proposed AWG28 × 5C with an overall jacket for the 3.0 mm limit and disclosed that it would use non-UL-certified cable without an outer-jacket UL marking; advised changing the wire specification if unacceptable and compared UL2454 with UL2517, both 28AWG 5C.
