CHINA-BASED TRADING & SOURCING PARTNER — NOT A FACTORY
Source custom cable assemblies from suitable factories in China
Zeakka reviews your drawing, BOM, connector references or written requirements, flags missing details, compares suitable factory quotation scopes, and coordinates samples and production follow-up. We do not manufacture the assemblies ourselves.

When this sourcing route is useful
It is designed for business projects with a defined requirement and potential order value of at least USD 200—not a single retail replacement cable.
A drawing or BOM needs a suitable factory
Use one contact to clarify the build and match discrete-wire, overmolded or ribbon assemblies to an appropriate source.
Several quotations need the same scope
Compare connector, wire, testing, tooling, packing and timing assumptions instead of relying on unit price alone.
One RFQ contains different projects
Different assemblies may suit different factories. Zeakka can coordinate the requirements and quotations across the RFQ.
RFQ
What to send for a useful review
A complete drawing is best, but it is not required to begin.
- Drawing, schematic, BOM or photos of an existing sample
- Connector reference, pitch, circuit count and pinout
- Wire or cable requirements, length and tolerance
- Quantity, application and target delivery need
- Any material, compliance or document requirement to confirm for the project
How we coordinate the project
We act as your commercial and technical communication partner between the requirement and suitable suppliers.
1. Clarify the build
Review the drawing and identify missing dimensions, materials, connector or assembly details.
2. Match and compare
Match the project to suitable suppliers and compare the available quote scope.
3. Coordinate samples
Coordinate sample preparation and revisions after specifications and materials are confirmed.
4. Follow the agreed scope
Coordinate production follow-up, inspection communication, packing and shipment details.
Compare the scope, not only the unit price
Before selecting a quotation, check that these items are treated consistently.
- 1Exact connector and terminal scope
- 2Wire, jacket, shield, and material specification
- 3Finished length and tolerance
- 4Inspection and test scope
- 5Tooling or special-material charges
- 6Sample and production timing assumptions
- 7Packing, delivery terms, freight, and exclusions
Choose the assembly path that fits the build

Discrete wire cable assemblies
Point-to-point harnesses for defined connectors, wire gauges, lengths and pinouts.
Discrete wire cable assemblies
Overmolded cable assemblies
Assemblies where the cable, connector and overmold structure need project review.
Overmolded cable assemblies
Flat ribbon cable assemblies
Terminated ribbon assemblies with connector, conductor count, orientation and routing details.
Flat ribbon cable assembliesWho confirms what
Your engineering or purchasing team
Approves the final drawing, BOM, pinout, candidate substitutions, validation plan, and equipment-level suitability.
Zeakka
Reviews inputs, flags missing or conflicting details, clarifies quotation scope, and coordinates factory options, samples, and revisions.
Selected factory
Manufactures and tests the confirmed configuration to the agreed project scope and provides the documents agreed for that order.
Project-specific quality coordination
Testing, materials, compliance documents and acceptance points are agreed for the specific project rather than assumed from a generic page.
- Every cable assembly receives continuity and short-circuit testing
- Pull-force testing is sampled and defined for the project
- Material, compliance and document requirements are confirmed during review
- Questions found in drawings can be clarified before sampling or production
Quotation and sample timing starts after clarification
A detailed quotation typically takes 1–5 business days after the requirements are clear. Samples commonly take 3–7 days after specifications and materials are confirmed; tooling, special materials and transport can take longer.
Cable assembly sourcing questions
Is Zeakka a cable assembly factory?
No. Zeakka is a trading and sourcing partner. We review the requirement, match it to suitable factories, compare quotation scope, and coordinate the agreed project steps.
Can you start without a finished drawing?
Yes. Send connector references or photos, a pinout or wire-to-wire list, cable requirements, length, quantity and application. We will identify what still needs confirmation.
Can one RFQ include several cable or connector projects?
Yes. We can review different items in one RFQ and coordinate suitable sources for each. The quoted factory and scope can differ by item.
Can the assembly use original JST or Molex connectors?
Yes. Original connectors can be sourced as part of a complete cable assembly, or you can ask us to review an unbranded compatible candidate. Each option is identified in the quotation and should be confirmed by drawing and sample.
Send the information available today
We will identify the missing details and coordinate the next sourcing step around the confirmed project scope.
