Choose the construction for your assembly
Start with the cable style closest to your project. The connector references and wiring at each end are agreed separately.
Double-ended jacketed cables
A connector at each end of a jacketed cable. Set the overall length, exposed wire length and end-to-end connections for your equipment.
Overmolded leads
An overmolded connector with prepared wire ends. Review the mold shape, cable exit, strain relief and free-end preparation for the installation.

Confirm the mating interface
Identify single-row or dual-row housings, the circuit count and the mating part at each end. Photos of the mating face and wire-entry side help show the keying and latch position.
Keep the viewing direction explicit
Define End A and End B, Pin 1 and whether each view faces the contacts or the wires. Pin-to-pin connections must be agreed; wire colors and matching pin counts alone are not a wiring specification.

Original housings and terminals can be sourced for finished cable assemblies, subject to the exact parts and availability. Original Molex components are not sold separately.
Unbranded compatible alternatives
Compatible candidates are reviewed against the mating interface, wire and application requirements. The quoted parts and agreed checks define the configuration.

Micro-Fit cable assembly questions
Can I request a quote without a drawing?
Yes. Send a photo, connector reference or short description. Include the approximate quantity and length if you know them. Email and a brief message are the only required form fields; drawings, a BOM and other attachments are optional.
Can the assembly use original Molex connectors?
Yes. Original Molex components can be sourced for your finished cable assembly, subject to exact part selection and availability. We can also review unbranded compatible alternatives. The quotation identifies the agreed components; original Molex connectors are not sold separately.
Can the other end use a different connector or free wires?
Share the other connector reference, a photo or the required wire-end preparation. We can review mixed-connector and single-ended configurations, including overmold requirements, and confirm the parts, wiring and sample arrangement for your project.
What are the MOQ, sample cost and lead time?
They depend on the components, wire, quantity and assembly work, including any tooling. Send your estimated demand and timing. Minimum quantities, sample charges and lead time are confirmed in the project quotation.
